Nursery Manager

We are currently recruiting a full-time manager to work on daily basis who will be responsible for a smooth operation of the setting with the following main responsibilities:

creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play

supervising activity-planning to make sure children's needs are met
-
working closely with parents and/or carers, giving them a high standard of customer service, including regular progress reports
-
working with colleagues, local authority, OFSTED and other professionals to make sure that children’s needs are met to the highest standards
-
making sure that equipment, such as furniture and toys, is in good condition
-
Ensuring suitably qualified and experienced staff are recruited
-
supporting and developing the nursery team
-
running the centre in line with environmental, health and safety and fire regulations
This role would work closely with the director of the nursery to make sure the service offered meets Ofsted and ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ standards.

Business Support Manager
We require a full-time Business Support Manager with the abilities to help us grow our business. The duties of the business manager will include:

Input and administer all employee leave records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness records and provide reports to management when required

Manage the school payroll provision, checking monthly reports and advising the Head teacher of monthly adjustments and variations
-
Supervise and train administrative staff, ensuring a well-functioning team.

Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and manage nursery staff
-
Coordinate with facilities staff to ensure a safe and conducive environment for children and staff.

Oversee administrative operations within the nursery, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.

Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes to support operational effectiveness.

Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Handle inquiries and concerns from parents and external parties, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

Collaborate with the management team to develop strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the nursery's overall performance and reputation.

Support marketing and promotional activities to attract new families and maintain enrolment levels.

Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.

Monitor and manage the nursery's budget, ensuring financial goals are met.

Streamline administrative processes to enhance overall efficiency.

Serve as a point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and concerns.

Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention

Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure the nursery's compliance

Ensure staff is trained on relevant technology tools.

Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of care for nursery children.

Represent the nursery at community events and engage with local stakeholders.

Collaborate with marketing efforts to promote the nursery in the community
Room Leader - Senior Nursery Practitioner

We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader / Senior Nursery Nurse. It is a full time position and you can work either term-time only or all year round. The duties will include:
